GV After Hours 2007

This is a view of downtown GV from launch.

Here's a view of the main road and Ibituruna Peak.

Not uncommon to see horse drawn carriages.

Here's a nationwide ad campain for a phone service.

Here's my main crew. Left to right: Me, Raul from Valle de Bravo, Mexico, Wessia from Valadares, Kevin from Santa Barbara,
JR from Telluride, Greg from San Francisco and Abel, our driver from GV.

Breakfast at the Serra Lima hotel.

I picked up some gem stones while I was there. The state of Minas Gerias (General Mines)
is one of the world's largest producers of Topaz. The top 8 stones are called Dendrites.
Below are Rubilite, Amythist, Green Gold, Aquamarine pair, Blue Topaz, Aquamarine, Turmaline,
Peidoto pair, Large Blue Topaz, Water Saphire, Penny, and Garnet pair.

After a flight, we might meet up at Joas for a beer and executivo plate - chicken, rice, beans, tomato, lettuce, french fries.

Definintely toast to a great day of flying with your buddies with a Skol cerveja.

Sometimes we'd check in and get some Acai - kind of a berry icecream served with granola and bannana.

Then maybe chill out at the hotel and watch some soccer and take a siesta.

Then it's time to head out with your amigos.

JBs is a cool outdoor bar serving up live music and cold beer, maybe even a caipirinha.

This is Luis and Elizete Carlos. "Freddie Mercury" was the first to fly a hang glider from Ibituruna in 1981. A really cool couple.

Me and Camila.

Greg and friends.

Dinner for 4. Ariane, Viviane, Bo, Lorena.

Luana.

Ludjimila.
