Bo Criss started flying in 1995 in Salt Lake City,
Utah. He immediately fell in love with the sport and immersed himself
into the many disciplines paragliding has to offer. After a bit of success
making cross country flights he started travelling to Valle de Bravo,
Mexico where he advanced his cross country skills. He set the site record
at Valle de Bravo, Mexico with a flight of 54 miles back to Mexico City. He earned his basic instructor rating in 1999 and his advanced instructor rating in 2001. He also has a great interest in maneuvers training and has coached over a dozen over-the-water maneuvers clinics the past 5 years. He completed his first paragliding loops in the spring of 2003. Bo moved to Santa Barbara in the Spring of 2002 and fell in love with the area and the community of pilots. On December 1st, 2002 Bo flew 61 miles from the Skyport launch in Santa Barbara to Magic Mountain near Santa Clarita. In all honesty he truly enjoys teaching as much as flying. Bo feels that safe, thorough, patient and individualized instruction is the key to the students' success.
Irene Revenko learned to fly in her native country of France 10 years ago. She earned her Basic USHGA Instructor Rating in the spring of 2003 and her Advanced Instructor Rating in the spring of 2005. She is an amazing thermal and cross country pilot and has competed for the last 4 years. Irene placed 3rd for women at the 2001 US National Paragliding Championships and 2nd at the 2003 nationals held in Telluride, Colorado. Irene loves teaching paragliding. Articles by Irene: |
